The copper-colored interior lid is inset and the outer lid effortlessly slides over top. Handmade in Japan, the smooth action of the lid makes this tin super easy to use (and a great option for arthritic hands). Plus, each tin comes with an Arbor Teas label that allows you to write the name of your tea on the sticker - we recommend using a permanent marker.
The small tin accommodates any of our regular-sized teas and the large tin accommodates all of our bulk-sized teas. The medium tin is a nice alternative for storing our denser bulk-sized teas or multiple regular-sized teas.

These are very nice. They seem well made, with a small footprint. I have only a few (very small) complaints. Despite having two lids, neither seems tight, so I wonder if the storage as a whole is air-tight. Also, even the small size is about 50% larger than a standard Arbor tea bag, which adds more air in storage (and wastes a little space). And they don't really stack. Other than those quibbles, I like these.
I was looking for a nice storage tin that was not made in China, and these were perfect for my loose teas.
These are fantastic quality, and pretty too. A must for keeping tea fresh! I also bought some for my parents, and they love them. Perfect!
I have been looking for Japanese tea tins that could hold a pound of tea leaves and was very happy to find these. They have a simple design, don't take up a lot of space on my counter, and are lovely to look at. I'll certainly be back for more.
I love this tea storage tin. I have it in two sizes medium and large. Made very well and easy to clean. I highly recommend purchasing them keeps your fresh and handy. Looks nice and neat on your kitchen counter
