I was happy to find a teapot without a spout for easier cleaning. so far this hasn't disappointed. very easy to clean, works in the dishwasher. the infuser has a little plastic on the handle but never needs to come in contact with water. This holds about two mugs of tea. so depending on your tea consumption good for a house hold of one or two people.
