I bought this to use with the decaf iced black tea. Two problems -- the lid is closer to 3 1/4 inches, so it doesn't fit in our tea pitcher, which has just over a 3-inch mouth. It's also not fine enough for the decaf iced black tea. So, $30 spent on a product that doesn't work for what I bought it for.
I purchased this to go with my loose burdock root tea. It is large as stated! I could use a smaller one, but I love the locking lid and hook/chain. Easy to use and easy to clean.
