One Cup of Perfect Tea Spoon

There are many things I do not like preferring others. I do not like velcro on my uniforms - always get zippers. I do not like plastic (goes back also to my dislike for the movie "The Graduate". I prefer glass or SS. The engraving on the spoon says all that is needed - "1 CUP OF PERFECT TEA". As someone else mentioned - this is a beautiful spoon with a very nice feel and heft as well. Not that I have a lot of spare time - but I did look all over for this spoon and particularly like Arbor Tea since I was introduced to them just under a year ago. This is a band of awesome, attentive to the products and vendors folk - I can't say enough good about these folk. Only regret is that I'm a bit far to visit from San Antonio, Texas area. But I do have it on a list for the future ! dk+

I didn't really need this little spoon for measuring out loose tea, as I have a several sets of measuring spoons for baking. I was really aiming to meet the minimum price point for free shipping. I justified adding it to my cart by convincing myself that I did want something that would be strictly for tea. While it is suggested that you may need to adjust your scoop to accommodate your tea type (it's apparently designed for black teas) I've used it with black and green loose leaf teas with great success. The weight of this spoon feels comfortable (solid) in your hand. Like a well balanced knife... it just works. One significant advantage that this spoon has over a regular measuring spoon is the fact that the handle is longer. This allows you to use it to scoop loose tea out of long, cylinder type canisters. Happy that I purchased this.

I have been searching for a spoon that isn't just a regular spoon. I needed something that would measure out enough loose leaf tea so I don't waste it, but I get the perfect amount for my cup. This does it.
