Perfect decaf
I love this green tea for when I want something refreshing and healthy-feeling without the caffeine. The subtle scent and flavor makes me think of walking through a sweetgrass meadow in late spring, early summer.
Enjoy the goodness of organic green tea without the caffeine! This organic and Fair Trade Certified Decaf Green Tea hails from the Putharjhora Estate in the Oodlabari District in northern India which produces a hearty leaf that can hold up to the decaffeination process and still pack a great vegetal flavor and medium body into each cup. Because this tea is decaffeinated using a state-of-the art carbon dioxide (CO2) decaffeination process, the spinach, endive and mineral notes of the organic loose tea come through nicely. Also, CO2 decaffeination does not involve the use of harmful chemicals, so the resulting product is simply a healthy cup of organic decaf tea with most of the caffeine removed (and no chemical overtones)!
Ingredients: organic and Fair Trade Certified Indian decaf green tea
All true teas contain caffeine. Decaffeinated teas are leaves from the plant Camellia sinensis that have had at least 97.5% of the caffeine removed. The term “decaffeinated” is different from “caffeine free.” Decaffeinated refers to a product that originally contained caffeine (like Camellia sinensis) and underwent a process to remove most of its caffeine content. Caffeine-free, on the other hand, refers to a product (like many of our herbal teas) that never contained caffeine to begin with. For our decaf teas, we exclusively use the carbon dioxide (CO2) method of decaffeination. We believe this is the safest form of decaffeination, and retains the greatest flavor and health benefits.

At Arbor Teas, we believe tea should be brewed to suit your personal taste. We’re happy to make recommendations to get you started, but don’t hesitate to experiment! When brewing your tea, your main considerations are tea quantity, water temperature, and steeping time. We recommend green and white teas to be steeped for 2 to 3 minutes in water heated to not-quite-boiling, just as bubbles begin to form on the bottom of the pan (approximately 170 to 180 degrees F). For the best flavor, use fresh water whenever possible. Try not to steep your tea longer than necessary, as you’ll extract undesirable bitterness from the leaves. If you want a stronger brew, don’t steep longer, just use more tea. And don’t forget to re-steep your tea leaves to get the most out of your leaf!

"A light-bodied decaffeinated green tea that has no bitterness. Be sure to brew with 180° F water, as I find this green tea to be particularly sensitive to water temperature."
I love this green tea for when I want something refreshing and healthy-feeling without the caffeine. The subtle scent and flavor makes me think of walking through a sweetgrass meadow in late spring, early summer.
I have purchased this tea in the past and it has been good. This time I purchased a larger size and am very disappointed that the majority of my purchase it stems. Looking for leaves but I can’t really find them. Very grassy tasting this time.
My go-to tea, is now out of stock. I ordered decaf green from another company and returned it. I'm now limping along on another relatively flavorless brand, but it'll do. You really do appreciate things more when they're gone. This Arbor Decaf green tea tastes clean with a pleasant well rounded flavor. Frankly the best currently available from what I 've tried.
This tea is fine. It's kind of bland, but smooth and not bitter, which is what I expected from a good decaf. There's no complexity of flavor, but I imagine that would be impossible. It's not the tea's fault I have to watch my caffeine! I'm excited to drink this in pitchersfulls of guilt-free iced tea.
I have been drinking this decalf green tea for 10 years now. I have tried others, but this is the best for me. It is a light flavored tea that is very smooth. You have to time the steeping time, anything much over 3 minutes and it gets bitter. Same with the water temperature, anything over 180 and the tea is bitter. A good electric water heater, a timer and a tea steeping pot are perfect with this tea. I highly recommend this tea.
We love this decaf green tea and have it every morning!
The worst. No flavor except for that vague fishy taste that green tea has sometimes. Very disappointed
This is the only tea that truly tastes like green tea. I absolutely love it. Very soft, delicious tea. No bitterness.
Fast shipping and absolutely delicious! Its hard to find quality decaf green tea not grown in China. Just one teaspoon makes a tall glass of iced tea, and I sweeten with a little stevia. Another treat ... sweeten with peppermint flavored stevia....so good!
This decaf green tea is so mellow and tasty. It is by far the best I've ever tasted. I'm also getting used to working with the loose tea especially after using tea bags for so many years. I use a little more than a teaspoon full when I make my tea and let it brew for about 3 minutes. I also swirl the infuser around in the cup for about 10 seconds before removing it.
This tea is the best green tea I have had. I was looking for a decaf green tea that would taste good and happy that I found it at Arbor Teas. I am looking forward to trying many of the other teas!
This decaf green is really flavorful and holds its flavor even with multiple steepings - I am really impressed. Love pairing this with take out sushi dinner at home, without the caffeine buzz.
I've tried a lot of teas. It's hard to find decaf green tea. This tea tastes great and I'm glad it's grown in India and not China.
I've been drinking green tea ( the bag variety ) for quite some time finally said to myself ' you French press your coffee , why not your tea ?' SO THIS IS WHAT GREEN TEA IS SUPPOSED TO TASTE LIKE ?! definitely ditching' the bag...never goin' back cannot rave enough ! good stuff...NO , THE BESTEST
At last, a decaf green tea with flavor! When I had to give up caffeine, I went on a hunt for a good decaf green tea. It took me many fails before I found this one. No more hunting. This is my new favorite decaf tea!
I did expect this tea to taste and look a little more "green." It brews into an amber color without any yellowish or greenish tint, and has more of a floral taste than a grassy one. If you've ever been to an authentic Chinese restaurant it's similar to the type of green tea that is typically served there. That being said, it is good and I like that it is decaffeinated without any weird chemicals. I also like that the tea pieces are larger because my tea strainer is bent but only a few pieces fell out and they sank to the bottom of the cup.
I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious this tasted. I'm sensitive to caffeine and had resigned myself to drinking only herbal teas. But after trying this one, I am definitely hooked! It tastes wonderful and I love that I can drink a cup (or four!) at any time without worrying about staying up all night.
I am very pleased with my recent order of decaf green. I am happy to find a green tea that is decaffeinated using carbon dioxide instead of chemicals. This is a healthier way of removing the caffeine. I drink green tea for the health benefits and the decaf tastes rich and delicious. Thank You
This tea had great taste. I have high bold pressure. Drinking this tear does not raise my levels. In fact, my levels will sometimes go down after drinking a cup.One thing I noticed, is that this tea steeps much better in a styrofoam cup as opposed to a china cup. Love this tea. Will definitely be buying more!
I have to use the CO2 decaf teas for my migraines- the caffeine and other decaffeinating methods can aggravate my migraines. I had to switch from another brand, and am so very happy with this tea!
A standard green tea that does the job when you're craving the taste but don't want the caffeine. Now a staple in my household.
This is the first time I try green tea coming from India. What a pleasant experience! The taste is crisp and clean. This light body tea is decaf, so I can feel free to enjoy it at night finally! It has no typical grassy taste at all. It doesn't have bitterness lingering either. Wonderful! Highly recommended!!
I'm not able to have caffeine and my MD recommended I drink loose leaf green tea daily for other health issues. I was grateful to find this option and have been enjoying it daily, hot, cold, infused w/ ginger, lemon, apple, pear or plain. It tastes really good, makes me feel good and my health has improved significantly. Thank you for offering this special product. I don't know what I would do without it. No where else have I found loose leaf decaf green tea let alone of this quality.
I usually drink about two cups of this tea daily. It has a clean, clear taste and is perfect hot with just a tiny amount of honey to sweeten. Best green tea I've had.
Thank you for offering such a fine product. Your customer service is also excellent.
Personally I like the health benefits of green tea. I am naturally hyperactive and avoid caffeine when I can. I workout and play a lot of sports and am always drinking fluids. What a perfect match for me and this green tea?! It tastes good. I like it very much. Go ahead and give it a try if you're on the fence you'll be glad you did.
This is an wonderful green tea for every day enjoyment. Many decaf greens have bland flavor but this is excellent and holds up very well over time.
Mango and papaya notes complement a light vegetal decaf green tea base
