Divine!
I literally just got my tea in the mail, brewed it up, melted into the floor, and just had to come on here and share! This tea is so delicious and the Jasmine flavor and smell is divine! Instantly obsessed!
We are thrilled to expand our organic decaf tea selections with this rare Organic Decaf Jasmine Green Tea! At long last, a beautiful organic Jasmine green tea, without the caffeine. This decaf tea has been at the top of our customer request list for over 10 years, and we’re delighted to finally find a partner that can skillfully produce an organic version for us! This Fair Trade Certified loose-leaf tea features a base of smooth-bodied organic decaf premium green tea infused with the classic fragrance of organic jasmine flowers. The aroma is acquired by plucking the jasmine flowers late at night when the blossoms are in full bloom. The flowers are then layered upon the organic decaf tea leaves to impart their fragrance and create a truly exquisite jasmine green tea experience! By morning, the jasmine fragrance has transferred to the organic Chinese tea leaves and the blossoms are then discarded. This process is carried out on multiple successive evenings to develop the superior flavor and aroma of this specially selected organic decaf green tea.
Because this tea is decaffeinated using a state-of-the art carbon dioxide (CO2) decaffeination process, the delicate vegetal flavor of the organic loose tea comes through nicely. Also, CO2 decaffeination does not involve the use of harmful chemicals, so the resulting product is simply a healthy cup of organic decaf tea with most of the caffeine removed (and no chemical overtones)!
Ingredients: organic and Fair Trade Certified Chinese decaf green tea
All true teas contain caffeine. Decaffeinated teas are leaves from the plant Camellia sinensis that have had at least 97.5% of the caffeine removed. The term “decaffeinated” is different from “caffeine free.” Decaffeinated refers to a product that originally contained caffeine (like Camellia sinensis) and underwent a process to remove most of its caffeine content. Caffeine-free, on the other hand, refers to a product (like many of our herbal teas) that never contained caffeine to begin with. For our decaf teas, we exclusively use the carbon dioxide (CO2) method of decaffeination. We believe this is the safest form of decaffeination, and retains the greatest flavor and health benefits.

At Arbor Teas, we believe tea should be brewed to suit your personal taste. We’re happy to make recommendations to get you started, but don’t hesitate to experiment! When brewing your tea, your main considerations are tea quantity, water temperature, and steeping time. We recommend green and white teas to be steeped for 2 to 3 minutes in water heated to not-quite-boiling, just as bubbles begin to form on the bottom of the pan (approximately 170 to 180 degrees F). For the best flavor, use fresh water whenever possible. Try not to steep your tea longer than necessary, as you’ll extract undesirable bitterness from the leaves. If you want a stronger brew, don’t steep longer, just use more tea. And don’t forget to re-steep your tea leaves to get the most out of your leaf!

"That Jasmine flower coats your mouth in its light, sweet floral-ness. Hints of green tea shine through but don’t crowd the room. This is a well-balanced and delicious tea!"

This tea has a wonderful delicate flavor and a very fragrant jasmine aroma, that even someone like me with nasal issues can smell.
This one surprised me! Of all the decaf greens this is my favorite. Such a good jasmine aroma, not too strong and well balanced. Could have actually fooled me as being a regular jasmine tea, not a decaf.
Wow I can't believe how good this one is! I have tried many decaf blacks and while they are good, you can definitely tell they are decaf as they lack full flavor and complexity. This tasted just as good to me as regular jasmine greens I've had and flavor lasted through many steeps.
