Tasty, not too sweet
I really like this tea. The berry flavor doesn't overwhelm the tea.
This Fair Trade Certified and organic loose leaf tea blend combines rich organic Indian tea with an array of tantalizing berry flavors! Because this tea is decaffeinated using a state-of-the art carbon dioxide (CO2) decaffeination process, the rich and coppery flavor of the organic black tea comes through nicely. Also, CO2 decaffeination does not involve the use of harmful chemicals, so the resulting product is simply a healthy cup of organic decaf tea with most of the caffeine removed (and no chemical overtones)! Ingredients: organic and Fair Trade Certified Indian decaf black tea, organic currants, organic cranberries, organic strawberries, organic elderberries, organic calendula petals, and organic berry flavor
Our delicious flavored teas use the same top-quality organic tea that we offer in our unflavored varieties, but are blended with pieces of real fruit, spices, flowers, and 100% natural flavors. When blending our teas, our goal is to create a cup that balances the taste of the tea with the flavors of the additional ingredients so that neither one overpowers. All of the natural flavors we use are either extracts taken directly from the botanical ingredient, or extracted using 100% GMO-free grain alcohol as a solvent. You can rest assured that none of the flavors used in our blends are synthetically or artificially derived, and do not use artificial preservatives.
At Arbor Teas, we believe tea should be brewed to suit your personal taste. We’re happy to make recommendations to get you started, but don’t hesitate to experiment! When brewing your tea, your main considerations are tea quantity, water temperature, and steeping time. We recommend black teas to be steeped for 3 to 5 minutes in water heated to a full, rolling boil. For the best flavor, use fresh water whenever possible, and avoid overboiling. Try not to steep your tea longer than necessary, as you’ll extract undesirable bitterness from the leaves. If you want a stronger brew, don’t steep longer, just use more tea. And don’t forget to re-steep your tea leaves to get the most out of your leaf!

”Mild sweetness with a fruity aftertaste. Notes of strawberry, honey, and oats. Reminds me of a bowl of strawberry oatmeal."
"Of our decaf teas, this is my favorite! It tastes as good as it looks. A true beauty in both appearance and flavor."
”Dessert in a cup. Reminds me of strawberry shortcake with fresh whipped cream."
I really like this tea. The berry flavor doesn't overwhelm the tea.
It's so nice to have such a delicious tea that's also decaffeinated and organic. When you add a bit of honey and cream it's like drinking a mixed berry pastry. I also occasionally steep it with the Earl Grey black tea and the combination of flavors sends me to heaven.
This is a really good black tea with a slight fruity note in the background - very good. I personally would recommend buying this tea if that is what you're looking for. If you're looking for a more pronounced fruity flavor, I would recommend that you mix the black tea with the Crimson Berry Fruit Tisane. If you're looking for something more subtle, this is the perfect choice.
For a decaf tea, this is surprisingly rich in flavor! I usually drink all my teas unsweetened. However with this one, I recommend trying it with a bit of honey, it complements the berry flavor. This tea is excellent as an ice tea as well.
This tea is wonderful treat with milk added (I add a plant-based one with vanilla). The aroma of the berries make it seem like I'm having a dessert. To give it a bit more body I add some of Arbor Teas' Organic Decaf Black Iced Tea with the berry tea. It makes for a bolder taste - more like a caffeinated tea.
This tea is absolutely perfect. Just the right flavor for your favorite go to tea!
I got this tea some time ago (during the winter) and wasn't very impressed by it, initially. As other reviewers have mentioned, it is a very mild black tea, with low acid. Unsweetened and hot, I feel it's rather boring. There's nothing wrong with it, but nothing really stands out either. Adding a bit of honey makes it much better as a hot tea, as a bit of sweetness helps to balance the taste. However, where this tea really stands out is how it tastes cold. Here the low acid levels really work in its favor, making a smooth, balanced iced tea that you can enjoy on hot days.
The balance between black tea and berry flavor is wonderful! It's not overly acidic. If you like black tea with a hint of berry, this is for you! A little sugar actually helps bringing out the berry flavor :) Overall, it's very pleasant tea to drink any time of a day!
This is a great late night treat. With a teaspoonful of sugar, its' fruity flavor is really enhanced, and it is satisfying enough to keep me out of the cookie jar before bed.
Just had this tea for the first time. I made iced tea with it. It was mild, with a wonderful berry flavor and no bitterness at all. One of my new favorites!
This is a delightful tea with the mild zing of berry flavors coming through. It was impressive to see all the dried berries in the mix, and the flavor really made a showing when the tea was steeped. A dollop of cream enhanced the flavor even more! Very enjoyable.
Tart hibiscus, mellow rosehips and other berries make for a rich fruit flavor
