What are Flavored Teas?
Our delicious flavored teas use the same top-quality organic tea that we offer in our unflavored varieties, but are blended with pieces of real fruit, spices, flowers, and 100% natural flavors. When blending our teas, our goal is to create a cup that balances the taste of the tea with the flavors of the additional ingredients so that neither one overpowers. All of the natural flavors we use are either extracts taken directly from the botanical ingredient, or extracted using 100% GMO-free grain alcohol as a solvent. You can rest assured that none of the flavors used in our blends are synthetically or artificially derived, and do not use artificial preservatives.
Steeping Instructions
At Arbor Teas, we believe tea should be brewed to suit your personal taste. We’re happy to make recommendations to get you started, but don’t hesitate to experiment! When brewing your tea, your main considerations are tea quantity, water temperature, and steeping time. We recommend black teas to be steeped for 3 to 5 minutes in water heated to a full, rolling boil. For the best flavor, use fresh water whenever possible, and avoid overboiling. Try not to steep your tea longer than necessary, as you’ll extract undesirable bitterness from the leaves. If you want a stronger brew, don’t steep longer, just use more tea. And don’t forget to re-steep your tea leaves to get the most out of your leaf!

Health Benefits
Like all true tea, black tea offers many potential health benefits. I'm not a big fruit tea drinker but I wanted to try all of Arbor's black tea offerings so I got a sample of this. I'm surprising myself by saying it's not my favorite of the fruit teas. I expected to prefer the lychee, and I did, but I was surprised by how much I liked apricot since I prefer mangos to apricots. I think the fragrance of the apricot tea really took it up a notch for me. Although I haven't made this iced, I think this would make an excellent iced tea and there's absolutely nothing wrong with it. Like all Arbor Teas, it's a great quality tea that does not taste at all artificial (which is usually why I avoid fruit teas). I think if you like mango tea, or even just fruit teas, you will love this.

I only recently became interested in brewing fresh organic tea leaves. I don’t know why - just happened one day. Then I found Arbor Teas and I would not buy from anyone else. The organic teas and their philosophy of tea making and drinking is inspiring. They make me want to do this more. I made iced tea with the mango black tea by placing tea leaves in a glass jar with water and placing it in the sun. Wow! Delicious with a bit of mango juice! I’m a fan!

My favorite tea!

This is my absolute favorite tea. The mango flavor is subtle but good (not unnatural) and the black tea is mild (doesn't get bitter if I steep too long). I sincerely wish this came in decaf because I'd buy both varieties. I'm forced to buy a lesser quality decaf mango black tea to have that option and it just isn't the same.

This tea is wonderful! Mildly mango but deliciously sweet. While mango isn't my favorite fruit, this mango black tea is dreamy, creamy, and heavenly. I plan on ordering two full-size bags next time (why is a regular bag only 2.5 ounces?). I am in love!

The taste was great especially with a little bit of honey, although not needed. The black tea is a little strong and somewhat overpowers the Mango, so it is not as noticable as I had hoped and expected, however the taste and aftertaste are still very pleasant. Very good tea, would consider getting again. Can't wait to try the mix with the Coconut Black Tea sample I purchased!

This tea literally arrived at my door minutes ago and I am now enjoying a cup of this fruity deliciousness! The beautiful colored photo of this tea is exactly what you get...so bright and robust. As with all Arbor Teas, I have found, once you cup open the freshly sealed bag you get a wonderful full aroma of what you're about to drink. This mango tea is stuble and I would prefer more mango zing, but overall I would and WILL be ordering it again. Enjoy! :-)
