Very nice, cold or hot
This tea is also one of my "go-to" teas for every day use. The mint gives it a nice kick and is great for cold brewing, although I love it hot as well.
Based on the traditional Moroccan beverage, this Fair Trade Certified organic loose tea blend combines gunpowder green tea and organic spearmint. The dark golden infusion of this aromatic organic Chinese tea is enlivened with bright and refreshing spearmint. The gunpowder lends a full body and light smoke. Traditionally served in a beautiful silver teapot, you can create your own authentic Marrakesh beverage by adding a generous amount of sugar or honey to this organic green tea.
Ingredients: organic and Fair Trade Certified Chinese green tea and organic USA spearmint
Our delicious blended teas use the same top-quality organic teas and/or botanicals offered in our single origin varieties, but are comprised of teas, herbs, fruit, and/or flowers of multiple origins and/or varieties. When blending our teas, our goal is to create a cup with a specific flavor profile in mind. Unlike single origin teas, which can vary from harvest to harvest (just like wine!), blended teas trade seasonal variation for year-to-year consistency. As a result, the formula and/or appearance of our blends may change over time, but you can rest assured that you’ll always receive an organic cup of tea with consistent flavor.
At Arbor Teas, we believe tea should be brewed to suit your personal taste. We’re happy to make recommendations to get you started, but don’t hesitate to experiment! When brewing your tea, your main considerations are tea quantity, water temperature, and steeping time. We recommend green and white teas to be steeped for 2 to 3 minutes in water heated to not-quite-boiling, just as bubbles begin to form on the bottom of the pan (approximately 170 to 180 degrees F). For the best flavor, use fresh water whenever possible. Try not to steep your tea longer than necessary, as you’ll extract undesirable bitterness from the leaves. If you want a stronger brew, don’t steep longer, just use more tea. And don’t forget to re-steep your tea leaves to get the most out of your leaf!

"Refreshing minty green tea! Try this one iced."
"People really go crazy for the combination of rich green tea and mint!"
"This blend has stood the test of time for good reason! A favorite of mine as well as many of our customers."
This tea is also one of my "go-to" teas for every day use. The mint gives it a nice kick and is great for cold brewing, although I love it hot as well.
After trying this, I rarely drink any other green tea. The smell and the taste are delightful. I enjoy drinking this year round
Heaven in a cup! I ordered a variety of teas! Tea arrived two days early. I am sitting in my living room and enjoying my first cup! So happy i find this company! Can't wait to try all of them
I've been primarily cold-brewing this tea since I got some a few weeks ago. It's a got a refreshing and cooling dose of mint that comes out strong with this technique, and low enough caffeine content (especially if cold brewed) that I can sip it thought the day to stay alert but not feel the jolt of iced coffee or black tea. I'm glad that I ordered the bulk, because cold brewing means going through leaves a little faster than other brew methods, but I will top off with water to resteep throughout the day.
I bought the Cold Brew Iced Tea Maker from this website as well, and pairing that with this tea seems to extract the best taste from the Moroccan Mint. For those (myself included) who were surprised to find that the taste of this tea was lighter than they expected, I'd recommend that.
I have tried many Moroccan Mint Teas over the years in an effort to duplicate the tea my family and I had many years ago. All of them did not match up. The mint taste was wrong, there was a sour aftertaste, the green tea flavor did not match up. That is until now. This Moroccan Mint Tea is amazing! It tastes just like the one of years past; which we were told was near impossible to get in the US. The mint is sweet but not overpowering. The green tea lends the perfect backdrop of earthiness. Best part: Organic!
I liked this tea a lot, but just wish there was a tiny bit more mint flavor to it. Otherwise, good tea.
This green tea is slightly smoky (hence, the gunpowder type) and only very slightly minty. I generally prefer more mint in my tea blend but I actually found this quite calming. Not bad! Perhaps Arbor Teas could make a second version with stronger mint flavor.
Although a pleasant tea, not very Minty, I like my tea with more flavor, this one tasted more like plain old green tea with a very light mint aftertaste.
I switched from Mighty Leaf mint tea because Arbor teas are organic. However, the mint flavor is not as strong and there's a subtle flavor that I can only describe as kissing a smoker. It's been 30 years since I kissed a smoker, but the memory lingers.
It's certainly one refreshing green tea! The mint taste is not too strong and I finds it quite comforting even in winter time. Now it's summer... Good sun brew green tea with a twist of mint is very good living! Love it!
I'm not a fan of spearmint but I like Moroccan mint tea, so I bought a 3.5 oz bag to give it a try. I like to brew mint teas by the gallon and chill them to keep in the fridge to drink instead of water during the warmer months. This year I jumped the gun and brewed a gallon despite it still being the Winter that Wouldn't Die. The scent of this loose-leaf tea is insanely fresh and sweet, and the flavor doesn't disappoint. Fresh, cool, cleansing, with a touch of green tea bitterness and astringency at the end.
I love Spearmint and Peppermint Tea. I tolerate Green Tea. This was truly a pleasant surprise and I am not a Green Tea fan. I sweetened this with honey. There is still a little green tea aftertaste right toward the end but the majority of the cup the tea had a refreshing taste that left your palate feeling clean. This is definitely going to become a favorite and I now am a Green Tea Fan!
The moment I tried this tea for the first time this evening, I was pleasantly surprised at how flavorful (but not overpowering) it was. Try it with honey for a unique taste I would describe as liquid candy.
I fell in love with this style of tea while traveling in Morocco. Since returning, I bought many "Moroccan mint" blends and they weren't quite right. This one is perfect. I add a generous amount of sugar and am taken right back to my time in Morocco.
Oh, this one. From the second I put the tea in my tea ball, I could smell a refreshing and sweet spearmint scent. The steam that rises from the mug is refreshing, and I have been known to sit and just breathe in the steam til the tea gets lukewarm. If you're not a fan of spearmint, I wouldn't recommend this, as that flavor does come through, but I found it didn't manage to overpower the light green tea taste that's also a part of the tea. For me, a sprinkle of stevia makes this a perfect drink to get me through the work day.
This tea is good. To me it has a hidden smokiness in the background. I am use to a more crisp green mint tea but find this very pleasing.
Have always enjoyed black mint tea iced; this year I decided to try green mint. The Organic Moroccan Mint Green is just wonderful iced. (Good hot too.) Very pleased with the flavor, even unsweetened. My teen son likes it as well. I know what we're drinking this summer.
Definitely buy this one in bulk if you like spearmint. The green tea/spearmint blend is amazing. It's tasty to the palate and very soothing to the belly especially after dinner. I enjoy it with a bit of lemongrass blended in and generous amounts of honey.
This is a great summer tea. I served it as iced tea with a sprig of fresh mint from my garden and everyone including guys who normally wouldn't touch green tea loved it. Very flavorful and perfect for a hot summer day.
This is my wife's favorite and everyone in the family loves it. We have tried many Moroccan Greens and this is the hands down winner. This is one we will keep in bulk. If you like mint buy the large size and live happily ever after!
