Plum Oolong
This is wonderful! The smell alone is divine! Not bitter, fruity notes, mid range boldness. I bought the sample to try and am so glad I did. I will be ordering a regular sized to add to my tea bar!
The combination of succulent Asian plums, tart schizandra berries, rosehips, hibiscus and select organic oolong tea leaves create a blend that is a delight for the senses! The dark pink infusion of this organic tea is pleasantly tart with a wonderful fruity and slightly floral aroma.
Ingredients: organic Chinese oolong tea, organic Indian black tea, organic schizandra berries, organic rosehips, organic hibiscus, organic currants, organic osmanthus flowers, and natural plum flavor
Our delicious flavored teas use the same top-quality organic tea that we offer in our unflavored varieties, but are blended with pieces of real fruit, spices, flowers, and 100% natural flavors. When blending our teas, our goal is to create a cup that balances the taste of the tea with the flavors of the additional ingredients so that neither one overpowers. All of the natural flavors we use are either extracts taken directly from the botanical ingredient, or extracted using 100% GMO-free grain alcohol as a solvent. You can rest assured that none of the flavors used in our blends are synthetically or artificially derived, and do not use artificial preservatives.
At Arbor Teas, we believe tea should be brewed to suit your personal taste. We’re happy to make recommendations to get you started, but don’t hesitate to experiment! When brewing your tea, your main considerations are tea quantity, water temperature, and steeping time. We recommend oolong teas to be steeped for 4 to 7 minutes in water heated to a just about boiling (approximately 195 degrees F). For the best flavor, use fresh water whenever possible. Try not to steep your tea longer than necessary, as you’ll extract undesirable bitterness from the leaves. If you want a stronger brew, don’t steep longer, just use more tea. And don’t forget to re-steep your tea leaves to get the most out of your leaf!

I love this tea. For me its a keeper. It has a brilliant deep red color, and it is a little on the tart side, but I like tartness, so that's one reason I love this so much. Plum fruit itself isn't overly sweet, so I think this tea is a good compliment to the fruit in a tea form.
...which would be fine if I wanted my tea to taste like wine, but I don't. The plum is a little too sour, and the flavor overall just tastes a little strange.
The flavor of this blend is bazaar. They should get rid of hibiscus & add cinnamon instead. Hibiscus dominates the plum. Adding currant & hibiscus makes blend bitter, esp at 212. Currant is already tartful enough, then u add hibiscus, ehh, not good mix. Might as well be Hibiscus Oolong.
I’m usually not big on fruity blends but I thought I’d give this one a try seeing as I really like oolong. Perhaps it was my fault for not looking more into it before ordering, but I had expected an oolong with plum added. This tea is more of a blend of many things, including hibiscus which I personally didn’t think fit well in this blend. If you’re a fan of fruity blends it may be for you, but it certainly wasn’t reminiscent of the oolongs that I’m used to.
Tart hibiscus, mellow rosehips and other berries make for a rich fruit flavor
Tart and mouth puckering with earthy, beet-like undertones and a light sweetness
