Arbor Teas is proud to offer unflavored loose leaf organic rooibos and organic green rooibos. Organic rooibos is harvested during the summer and left to oxidize, a process in which, among other things, the leaves’ color changes from yellow to the familiar red, and then dried.
In contrast, unoxidized green rooibos is dried immediately. Plain rooibos has an apricot, grain-like flavor with a sweet aroma. Green rooibos tends to be less fruity and slightly greener in flavor.
