It looks good. But, I don't understand why the opening is just too small to get a hand (medium size female hand) in to clean it properly. Also, it has a couple draining holes on the rim, but neither are aligned with the spout. So when you place the pot in the dish-rack after rinsing/washing, upside down at a slight angle so that the water can drain through the spout, the water cannot drain from the rim simultaneously. It being a German product I had greater expectations, I am really bummed and surprised by this design and lack of thought - and I can say that, I am German.

As key item in my kitchen which gets used several times each day, I have nothing but positive observations to make on this teapot. It's large enough for a family of 3-4 strong tea drinkers, and it's easier to clean by hand or in a dishwasher than any ceramic tea pot. My only regret is that I cannot order replacement or additional baskets designed to fit it.

I love this teapot very very much, and I use it every day. It's very sleek. It pours perfectly without drips down to the very last drop. The handle stays cool to the touch, even when filled with boiling water. It makes about 3 large mugs of tea. It's easy to rinse out, but not super easy to scrub the inside (if you care about that). Possible downsides? The little basket holding the tea can be very hot to pull out after 3-5 minutes. I use bamboo tongs to lift it out, no problem. But you can't really grab it with your bare fingers. Also, it's such an efficient steeper the first time, that I find a second steep of the leaves a bit weak. I solve that by only filling it halfway with hot water for the resteep. This is easily the best teapot I've ever had.
