This is a great way to make tea, no teabags to throw away, etc. BUT. We make iced tea in a huge pitcher and I mistakenly thought that this was going to stay closed. Oops! We have learned to use rubber bands to hold it together and all is well, but a snap or screw on lid would be a nice feature.

When I started drinking tea, I wasn't sure I'd like it and as such, went for the cheapie $2.99 Wal-Mart teaball infuser. It...gets the job done, but you WILL have little bits of tea leaf and whatnot scattered on the bottom of your cup, and many of the longer leaves won't have the room to unfurl, resulting in a weaker tea. After getting several different kinds of tea, I decided it was time to take the plunge and splurge (hey, when you have twin babies, anything ten bucks and over is a splurge) on the small tea filter. An already good tea was suddenly DELICIOUS. I noticed a lot more flavor because the leaves could fully expand, and there wasn't that little bit of dust and mint leaves sludging up the last couple of sips, because the mesh on this thing is really fine. I highly recommend at least the small one. It fits perfectly over my ~12oz coffee mug, the lid ensures there isn't a mess at my desk when I pull it out, and it's really easy to clean. GET THIS.
